Well folks, here it is. The results are in, and my OH MY, are they mind blowing. 10 of the world’s best double india pale ales battle it out, blind. Who will win?
If you missed the trailer for this shin dig, here it is.
What we did: we gathered 10 top-ranked DIPAs under one roof. We then drank them. “Blind”.
We had the beers served to us, anonymously. We did not know what we were served, and we placed the numbered cups in front of us, arranged in order from best to worst. Once all the beers were served, and we were content with our rankings, we scored them. 10 points went to Jay’s top ranked beer, and 10 to AJ’s. 9 was given to the second place, etcetera. At the end, we added our scores per cup (each beer), and crowned a winner. It was a lot of fun, and we look forward to revisiting this format in the future.
